This school offers you a complete teaching and a know-how recognised by the profession so that you can improve your technique in the different make-up styles (TV, shows, fashion, special effects, photos, theatre, short films & feature films, etc...). Many a time, famous professionals of the make-up accompany you and transmit their talent to you.
We propose different formations, either for short or long term. Our school combines both theory and practice so that our pupils can successfully insert the professional world during the training period included in the course.

The international dimension of the school of make-up enabled us to accommodate pupils from France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany . Indeed, our classes are given in French and German.
Each year, our teaching is enriched by the arrival of professionals of the medium of the make-up, who share their experiments and their talents with our students, and involve them in an attractive world : that of film turnings, shows, fashion parades, body paintings, etc ...

Your commitment:
You have to be 18 or about to be it and justifying at least CAPE level. You will be retained following a maintenance during which we will evaluate your general culture and your artistic direction (drawings, photographs,...).

The quality and the specificity of our teaching prepare you to enter directly the professional world. Since the formation to the job of professional make-up man hasn't been recognised by the National Education, the formation is sanctioned by the school diploma.
Getting it requires as much assiduity at the classes as professionalism during training.

During the school year, our pupils must complete at least two training courses in the sectors of TV, short films, the scene, the theatre, the opera, event or compositions of child. Their goal is to win an impression of the occupation world to experiment teamwork and to convert learning into practice. The duration of practical courses can be vary from one to several days .

The 1st parlour was held in Colmar in March the 4th and 5th 2006.
The visitors could admire on our stand:
-the making of 3 body paintings.
-artistic make-up :a score of models dressed up with show hairstyle of the Hairstyle Team of Colmar .
- make-up for the processions of the dressmakers of the contest creative trophy .
- make-up for kids.
On the large scene, Candice Mack and Stephanie carried out a performance: a body painting in 10 minutes !

Festival of Fantastic Film of Gerardmer
Since 2000, the school Candice Mack is partner of the Festival of Fantastic Film of Gerardmer. In collaboration with famous make-up man FX David Scherer, our pupils improve their know how at his sides.
Each year, our pupils make up celebrities, actors, movie directors ...
On our stand, our pupils propose fantastic make-up to the visitors.

An innovative concept:
The school of make-up Candice Mack is the exclusive importer of the Grimas products in France. This line of Dutch professional make-up exists since the beginning of the 80's and is a leader in Europe.
We wanted a professional range allowing to give to the world of make-up an artistic dimension. This avant-gardist range adapts perfectly to the professional techniques:

Long formation- 8 months
School year going from October 2006 till May 2007.
5 days a week, 4 hours of courses (9 a.m.-1 p.m.).
Possibility of spreading out the payment of the remaining sum (to be agreed with the direction) .

It includes the long formation to which you add a high level course on Monday afternoon.
Total cost: 4680€ (+ the material).

You have 2 choices to attend the courses:

-Or 140 hours distributed on 2 months.

Short training- Improvement
Beauty Training
Formation including the beauty make-up techniques of Parlours & Hairdressers, valorisation of the customers, development of the services, self make-up.
Fashion Make-up
Completing the Beauty Training, creating a fashion make-up, magazine, photographs, in agreement with the current tendencies, visualisation in real time, studio photographs.
Hairstyling
Completing the former training, adapted for the beginners. Initiation to Studio Hairstyle, elaborating classic & tendency chignons , use of pastiches, hairstyling, finish.
Scene make-up Techniques
Creation and realisation of a character in 10 min - Morphopsychology : incorporating various expressions according to the lines of the face - Theatre ageing.
